SKBrown Logistics | Michigan employer programs

Your Testing Program Shouldn't Depend on Someone Remembering Every Deadline.

Random selections. Driver rosters. Test coordination. Records. One missed step can turn a routine compliance task into a serious business problem. SKBrown Logistics helps Michigan employers organize DOT and Non-DOT testing administration, with clear responsibilities and practical support.

Serving Macomb County, Wayne County and eligible employers statewide. Services by appointment only.

Where employers get stuck

The Compliance Gaps That Cost Time

A policy in a binder doesn't coordinate a test, maintain an accurate roster or make sure a missed collection gets followed up. Your program needs consistent administration, not just a phone number to call when something goes wrong.

Unclear ownership

Who updates driver and employee lists, orders tests, monitors outstanding tasks and follows up on exceptions?

Fragmented records

When results, collection documentation and communications live in different places, routine questions take too long to answer.

Reactive testing

Post-accident, reasonable suspicion and random testing require established procedures before an urgent situation happens.

What SKBrown Can Coordinate

Services are matched to your workforce, regulatory coverage, existing vendors and written program responsibilities.

DOT programs

C/TPA Administration

Coordination of covered testing-program functions as agreed, including random-program administration, test ordering support and documentation workflows. Employers retain their regulatory responsibilities.

Non-DOT programs

Employer Testing Administration

Help implementing your employer's written testing procedures, organizing requests, coordinating collections and keeping program activity trackable.

Operational support

Random Testing Administration

Structured selection and notification workflows, testing coordination and follow-up based on the program's applicable rules and agreed scope.

Regulatory distinction: A C/TPA can perform certain administrative functions, but the regulated employer remains responsible for compliance. DOT random-testing rates, covered employee eligibility, testing procedures and record retention depend on the applicable agency rules. This page does not replace a compliant written program or legal advice.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does hiring a C/TPA transfer DOT compliance responsibility?

No. A C/TPA may handle agreed administrative tasks, but a regulated employer remains responsible for meeting applicable DOT requirements.

Are drug tests included in the monthly administration price?

Not automatically. Collection, laboratory, MRO, travel and other third-party charges depend on the agreed package. We identify what is included before enrollment.

Can you manage both DOT and Non-DOT programs?

SKBrown offers coordination for both, but DOT and Non-DOT programs must be administered according to their different applicable requirements and employer policies.

Can small trucking companies and owner-operators request services?

Yes. We review whether DOT testing rules apply, the covered roster, and the specific administration and collection services needed before quoting a program.

Are services walk-in?

No. SKBrown Logistics provides all services by appointment only.
